I had an amazing business trip! The hotel is right across from the train station and just a stone's throw from the ferry to Naoshima-super convenient for exploring! The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay feel extra special. The room was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious. Plus, the access to the onsen nearby was the cherry on top, perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings!
The only downsides were a little noise from the vents in the room, which made it tough to get some good sleep. the breakfast was decent, but I wished for more variety. A buffet-style option would have been awesome! Just a heads-up, the onsen is closed on the third Tuesday of every month, so plan accordingly!

The room was reasonably spacious, there were climate control, a private safe, and flat-screen TV. The beds and pillow were great. The hotel was located in a magnificent place, opposite a ferry port
Not obvious to find.

the hostel part felt upscale, with clean and modern amenities. i loved that each guest had their own room pod for privacy. the lovely lounge area offered free snacks and drinks, and having access to the onsen was a perfect touch. the location was ideal, right by the ferry and close to shops, making day trips to the surrounding islands easy and enjoyable.
Breakfast wasn’t great, felt a bit forced. 😕.

The amenities were super modern and clean, and I loved that it was just a short walk to the onsen and ferry port. The free ice cream and snacks were such a nice touch, plus the cozy pod-style rooms offered a bit of privacy, which I appreciated. The staff was friendly and spoke English, making everything easy.
There were a few drawbacks. The soundproofing in the dorm could’ve been better; I could hear folks around me pretty well. I faced some issues with heater control and the hot water in the shower area, which was frustrating. Lastly, the rental bikes weren't the best for long rides, and they felt a bit pricey.

Consider renting bikes directly on Naoshima for comfort and better rates. It's a perfect way to explore the island.

I stayed in a Small Double Room and it was really comfy! The bed was super cozy, and the room was bright and modern. All the basics were there. Some nice touches. The shared kitchen and dining space was a great bonus, and I loved the free access to the onsen nearby. Wish I'd booked a sea view room though. They looked amazing!

This place was a great match for a couple of nights in Tamano with excellent value. The AC controls had no English translation, tricky at first, but I figured it out. Make sure to ask for help if you need it.

Cute staff and great location.
I stayed for one night, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Despite my attempts to understand it, there were no English instructions available, even more frustrating to deal with the heat.
